Yes, money can buy you happiness.Money is as important in Life as Zero is important in number system.
Although zero has no real value but number system cannot exist without it.
So is the case with Money has no real value being just a piece of paper, but you can’t survive without it.

The issue is that a lot of people don’t understand what they should be buying to result in happiness. Most people are spending their money on things that aren’t related to long term happiness. Thus, a lot of people aren’t optimizing their investments and purchases for the goal of long term happiness.

“If Money Doesn’t Make You Happy Then You Probably Aren’t Spending It Right.”

People are making purchasing decisions that don’t translate into happiness everyday in life. A brand new pair of shoes will actually impact their emotions and make them happy. Most people don’t know the basic scientific facts about happiness and so they don’t know how to use their money to acquire it.

Sex and admiration seem to be the reason why we do anything. It’s part of our biological design. It ensures the existence of our specie. I think what you’re trying to say is that we should be spending our money on hookers and buying friends and not material goods?
