This amazing set of stairs is situated in Aketx, Basque County, Spain. It leads to a solitary monastery on a small islet of Gaztelugatxe.
Legend tells that you should find a bell at the entrance of the monastery, ring it three times, and make a wish!
It is said to have been built in the tenth century, though some argue it was the ninth. It is an excellent place to enjoy the surrounding magnificent landscape, especially in spring and fall when it’s least crowded.
