The cockroach theory for self development.
    
At a restaurant, a cockroach suddenly flew from somewhere and  sat on a lady. She started screaming out of fear.
With a panic stricken face and trembling voice,she started jumping, with both her hands desperately trying to get rid of the cockroach.Her reaction was contagious, as everyone in her group also got panicky.

The lady finally managed to push the cockroach away but …it landed on another lady in the group.

Now, it was the turn of the other lady in the group to continue the drama.

The waiter rushed forward to their rescue.In the relay of throwing, the cockroach next fell upon the waiter.

The waiter stood firm, composed himself and observed the behavior of the cockroach on his shirt.When he was confident enough, he grabbed it with his fingers and threw it out of the restaurant.

Sipping my coffee and watching the amusement, the antenna of my mind picked up a few thoughts and started wondering, was the cockroach
responsible for their histrionic behavior?

If so, then why was the waiter not disturbed?

He handled it near to perfection, without any chaos.

It is not the cockroach, but the inability of the ladies to handle the disturbance caused by the cockroach that disturbed the ladies.

I realized that, it is not the shouting of my father or my boss or my wife that disturbs me, but it’s my inability to handle the disturbances caused by their shouting that disturbs me.

It’s not the traffic jams on the road that disturbs me, but my inability to handle the disturbance caused by the traffic jam that disturbs me.

More than the problem, it’s my reaction to the problem that creates chaos in my life.

Lessons learnt from the story:

I understood, I should not react in life.

I should always respond.

The women reacted, whereas the waiter responded.

Reactions are always instinctive whereas responses are always well thought of.

Heat or freeze

Things can b preserved by heating or freezing, same way with us. We can choose our way of living to preserve ourself in this universe.

We can choose to keep
# heating our anxiousness, fear, anger, hate, jelousy and grow our problems

# or frooze it ( we have to frooze because i admit that we cannot destroy it,  use it at extreme when there is no other solution)  and enjoy the rest of beautiful world.

The 99…..

Once upon a time, there lived a King who, despite his luxurious lifestyle, was
neither happy nor content.

One day, the King came upon a servant who was singing happily while he worked. This fascinated the King; why was he, the Supreme Ruler of the Land, unhappy and gloomy, while a lowly servant had so much joy.

The King asked the servant, ‘Why are you so happy?’
The man replied, ‘Your
Majesty, I am nothing but a servant, but my family and I don’t need too much – just a roof over our heads and warm food to fill our tummies.’

The king was not satisfied
with that reply. Later in the day, he sought the advice of his most trusted advisor. After hearing the King’s woes and the servant’s story, the advisor said, ‘Your Majesty, I believe that the servant Has not been made part of The 99 Club.’

‘The 99 Club? And what
exactly is that?’ the King
inquired.
The advisor replied, ‘Your
Majesty, to truly know what The 99 Club is, place 99 Gold coins in a bag and leave it at this servant’s doorstep.’
When the servant saw the bag, he took it into his house.
When he opened the bag, he let out a great shout of joy…

So many gold coins!
He began to count them. After several counts, he was at last convinced that there were 99 coins. 
He wondered, ‘What could’ve happened to that last gold coin? Surely, no one would leave 99 coins!’
He looked everywhere he
could, but that final coin was elusive. 

Finally, exhausted he decided that he was going to have to work harder than ever to earn that gold coin and complete his collection.
From that day, the servant’s life was changed. 
He was overworked, horribly grumpy, and castigated his family for not helping him make that 100th gold coin. 
He stopped singing while he worked.
Witnessing this drastic transformation,the King was puzzled. When he sought his advisor’s help, the advisor said, ‘Your Majesty, the servant has now officially joined The 99 Club.’ 

He continued, ‘The 99 Club is a name given to those people who have enough to be happy but are never
contented, because they’re always yearning and Striving for that extra 1, saying to themselves: ‘Let me get that one final thing and then I will be happy for life.’ We can be
happy, even with very little in our lives, but the minute we’re given something bigger and better, we want even more! We lose our sleep, our happiness, we hurt the people around us; all these as a price for our growing needs and desires.

Every sunday i don’t clean my cupboard thinking my future sundays may get aimless.;-) :-!

How long i hold it..

A psychologist walked around a room while teaching stress management to an audience. As she raised a glass of water, everyone expected they’d be asked the half empty or half full question. Instead ,with a smile on face,  she inquired ” How heavy is this glass of water ??”
Answer varied in range of 8- 20 oz.

She replied the weight does’nt matter. It depends on how long i hold it. If i hold for a minute, its not a problem. If i hold for an hour, i will have ace in my arm. If i hold it for a day,my arm will feel numb and paralysed. In each case the weight of glass does’nt change, but the longer i hold it,  the heavier it becomes.

” The stress and worries are like that glass of water. Think about it for a while and nothing happens. Think about it a bit longer and they begin to hurt. And if you think about them all day long , you will get paralysed- incapable of doing anything. “

Little things gives you happiness

Some very little things and pranks we do in our college life , rejoys our life.

# To break the rules, gives pleasure and internal satisfaction of going so,feels good.

#  To act completely different of what is said. To laugh when you are asked to be silent.(specially acting childish)

#  To bunk the classes, tease the lectures ,giving funny names to our faculty and call them with it.

# Harass the couples of college. Pair one another with diiferent guys and girls.

#  Eat, play games during the class, seating on last benches.

# Texting the first benchers, and ask them to reply.

# Secret Nightout from hostel for parties.

# During submision time – drawing figures, copying assignment for friends.

# Preparing for exam since the reading but syllabus will complete hour before the exam.

Endless more moments that only college life have given us. Proud to have lived all……

Unspoken words- the Secret

There are few things that we don’t tell anyone, called Secret. Not even yourself. Yes!! Not even yourself.
#  Few thoughts should be left unsaid, if it comes out you may break, not only yourself but others too.

#  The secret desire to be something else of what you are now, lies in all of us, but you are not permitted to show this to the world.

# Some unsaid truth keeps you going good. Let the truth be within you.

# Some lie makes relations and solves problems ,that not a sin. Do it.( not motivating to be a lier)

If the unspoken words gives better life to live, let the words be within. Its said that ” if its reqiured to speak para, complete with sentence, if sentence is needed complete with words, and when words are allowed ,be quite.”

The 3 C of life

Depends on what you think.

Its said that ” what you are, or will become, depends on what you think.” 
Thinking is important to hold decision power. But the point is to what extent?? Is there any limit to thoughts??  Thoughts does’nt come with a deadline. When you start thinking you don’t know where you may end.

Overdose of thoughts may lead to unproductive or no result. You should know where to stop. You need a break else may lead to accident. You go to deep thoughts due to fear.
The fear of failure and regrate of future makes you think more & more.

Remember-
#  You are the king of your own life.
#  Don’t think of other people before coming to a decision.
#  You may fail but think that you had  courage to atleast take your decision.
#  Don’t go out of bound, think positively.
#  Just think of best and worse outcome you may get, you will have have no fear thereafter.

In this material world fighting for some unknown struggle we sometimes forget that we have few people around us that make us feel alive, and we should value the relation & people.

A man left his home to fulfill his desire to earn more , thought he succeded but that did not gave him the happiness of success because he was alone….

Think positive in every situation you come across in life.

To be a Perfect marriage material.

“Look at the couple, are they perfect marriage material? ” said one of my close cousin , at marriage which i attended recently.

What’s the defination of Perfect marriage material? Are there some predefined protocol to fit in the category. Similarly to be a eligible bachelor ? Why do we use it for ? ( Many questions at a time.)

Shape ,size, structure, strength, stamina;  what to fit to be eligible? Do you have to clear examination ? I personally never understood this.

May be you should
#  be able to handle extreme pressure.
# ready for the harresement. 
# ready to behave ,what you are not.(being obediant)

Or
# just be loveable.
# ready to take the responsiblity to love each day better than yesterday.
# give warm , bring a smile and promise to maintain that.

Or
# to be rich.
# to have attractive and good looking personality.
# to fit some society standard.
( choose one you like😄:D)

Marriage should not be judged, its a pure relation between two imperfect people, a promise to share good and bad for life, a life long unbreakable ceremony done to unite. Nothing is perfect in this world. How a human being can??

What you see may not be truth…

Have you ever thought that sometimes you are forced to think that what you see, is actually truth. You might observe a smile on someone’s face but is it the smile he carries from heart or a fake smile just to show others that i am happy.

Whatever you see,may not be the truth. You might think according to your mind but there is a possibility that you are wrong. The truth might be completely differently.

I meet a girl who seem to be quite intelligent and independent but shared with me some things that made me write today. She was happy but for others, personally she passed with so many hard times that no one knew. I read somewere that ” Everyone we meet is fighting a battle we know nothing about”.

Failure will lead to success, you will have to accept & have patience. If you think that one failure means no way around ,all doors closed,thats not true. Your way to success is from failure,you will learn and develope.

Be an observer. Wait and watch, you might get the GEM out of scrap.

Thanx God, Life is surprising

“Everything we think should happen to us does’nt occur with us.”
God has plans for us, he surprise us.  He gives us those things that are not planned us, and at the end better for us.Let it be some lesson for our deeds Or unasked happiness and joy to be living and learning each day.

As humans we are set to think best for ourself , but just hold ,  Think!!!! Is it possible???  We can not remain happy & gay always.( SORRY always is not the word made for happiness.) We need some ups and down to learn and act.

Think of situation you start getting what you have asked for, would that give you same feeling of joy to that joy of getting you have not asked for ???? Definately not….

Let life surprise you and dont prepare yourself for it. We might loose the joy. Let it come to you and then you will be on cloud nine Everyday, repeat Everyday.

Be lazy, be crazy…
