“The Sacrifices We Make in Life”

Life is full of sacrifices, both big and small. From giving up a night out with friends to care for a sick family member, to making career choices that require long hours and hard work, sacrifices are a part of the human experience. But why do we make sacrifices, and how do they impact our lives?

At its core, sacrifice is about prioritizing what is important to us. We may sacrifice our time, energy, or resources to pursue our goals and dreams or care for those we love. Sacrifice can be difficult and uncomfortable, but it can also be incredibly rewarding.

One of the most common sacrifices we make in life is our time. Whether it’s working long hours to build a successful career, or dedicating our free time to a passion project or cause we believe in, time is a precious commodity that we can never get back. But the sacrifice of time can also lead to great personal and professional growth and can help us achieve our goals and aspirations.

Sacrifices can also be physical and emotional. We may sacrifice our comfort and well-being to care for others, or to pursue a challenging goal. This can be exhausting and draining, but it can also be incredibly rewarding and fulfilling, as we see the impact our sacrifices have on others and on our own lives.

Ultimately, the sacrifices we make in life reflect our values, priorities, and goals. While sacrifice can be difficult and uncomfortable, it can also be a powerful tool for achieving personal and professional growth, and for building meaningful relationships with those we care about. So, whether we are sacrificing our time, energy, or resources, let us remember that these sacrifices are a testament to our resilience, perseverance, and dedication to the things that matter most to us.

A LEAP OF FAITH

image

An excellent write up to read.
A LEAP OF FAITH.
There was once a man who got lost in the desert. The water in his flask ran out two days ago, and he was on his last legs. He knew that if he didn’t get some water soon, he would surely perish. The man saw a shack ahead of him. He thought it might be a mirage or hallucination, but having no other option, he moved toward it. As he got closer he realized it was quite real, so he dragged his weary body to the door with the last of his strength.

The shack was not occupied and seemed like it had been abandoned for quite some time. The man gained entrance, hoping against hope that he might find water inside.

His heart skipped a beat when he saw what was in the shack: a water pump..It had a pipe going down through the floor, perhaps tapping a source of water deep under-ground.

He began working the pump, but no water came out. He kept at it and still nothing happened. Finally he gave up from exhaustion and frustration. He threw up his hands in despair. It looked as if he was going to die after all.

Then the man noticed a bottle in one corner of the shack. It was filled with water and corked up to prevent evaporation.

He uncorked the bottle and was about to gulp down the sweet life-giving water when he noticed a piece of paper attached to it. Handwriting on the paper read: “Use this water to start the pump. Don’t forget to fill the bottle when you’re done.”

He had a dilemma. He could follow the instruction and pour the water into the pump, or he could ignore it and just drink the water.

What to do? If he let the water go into the pump, what assurance did he have that it would work? What if the pump malfunctioned? What if the pipe had a leak? What if the underground reservoir had long dried up?

But then… maybe the instruction was correct. Should he risk it? If it turned out to be false, he would be throwing away the last water he would ever see.

Hands trembling, he poured the water into the pump. Then he closed his eyes, said a prayer, and started working the pump.

He heard a gurgling sound, and then water came gushing out, more than he could possibly use. He luxuriated in the cool and refreshing stream. He was going to live!

After drinking his fill and feeling much better, he looked around the shack. He found a pencil and a map of the region. The map showed that he was still far away from civilization, but at least now he knew where he was and which direction to go.

He filled his flask for the journey ahead. He also filled the bottle and put the cork back in. Before leaving the shack, he added his own writing below the instruction: “Believe me, it works!”

This story is all about life. It teaches us that we must give before we can receive abundantly. More importantly, it also teaches that faith plays an important role in giving. The man did not know if his action would be rewarded, but he proceeded regardless. Without knowing what to expect, he made a leap of faith.

Water in this story represents the good things in life. Something that brings a smile to your face. It can be  intangible ilm or it can represent money, love, friendship, happiness, respect, or any number of other things you value. Whatever it is that you would like to get out of life, that’s water.

The water pump represents the workings of the karmic mechanism. Give it some water to work with, and it will return far more than you put in. This mechanism traces a great circle, an unbroken path that eventually comes back  to its point of origin. The energy of this circulation gathers power as it moves along, so that when it finally returns, it is greatly amplified.

Perhaps you have done a good deed that no one knows about, so you assume there will not be an effect associated with this particular cause. In reality, you have but initiated the karmic mechanism in the spiritual realm. You cannot see it, but it is there all the same, and it begins gathering energy and seeking its way back to you immediately.

In general, whatever goodness you want from life, give it to others first. Give it cheerfully and willingly, without calculating your gain. Initiate the circular exchange and relax in the certain knowledge that no one ever gets shortchanged. Eventually, it WILL come back to you.

Think of planting flower seeds in a garden as a metaphor for the karmic mechanism. Each seed you plant is a process you have set into motion. You understand the principles that govern the growth of plants and you know the soil is fertile, so you know that you will see results in the fullness of time. What you do not know is exactly when or how the flowers will bloom, and that’s perfectly fine.

The only thing we need is the courage to take charge and jump start the water pump.

Believe me, it works!

What you say is not actually the truth..

Did you ever lie to someone, some day in your life?? What you say is actually a truth all times???
I think all will agree to me. At some or other point in small or large scale we lie just to run out of the situations, to get treated immediately for sometime and enjoy. Like the medicines (i am not against it), they cure us for sometime but does’nt end our problems.

Yes i am a liar at many situations in my life just to be cured at that moment, rest will be seen later.later i build more leaves on that tree of false. The chain keeps on increasing till it finally starts hurting you from inside.today i have come to that point. I am not ashamed in accepting it.As i know i may be hurting someone , somewhere so i just take a chance to apologize to all whom i may have hurt by my sentences, knowing or unknowingly.
We actually hit like and upvote quotes that say true facts of life or some general facts but will remain same even after knowing the facts. We keep repeating what we should not and end up in misery.
DSC_0144
Yeah!! going with the truth all the times will not be digestible to our systems Now, we are addicted in keeping things confidential to our circles. All don’t deserve to know. Its OK to serve dish of truth with pinch of untruthful creamy topping and keep moving on. It becomes necessary to keep changing with the change of life. to give good we take it as a support, to actually be nice at others heart.

You cannot predict the heart , you can read the mind through eyes or other stuffs but not heart!!
Untruthful words cover the eyes and mind of other people very easily.i bet they will not go into your details of truth. To the proposal of i love you , i love you too, is just enough.Noone cares about the details of truth.
but as i said we are addicted to it. So just accept the new truth that noone is Truthful. nooone is sinner, all are liars!!!

Love in different way

image

Read the story below to link the emotions of Love in a different way.

Teacher : A cruise ship met with an accident at sea, on the ship was a pair of couple, after having made their way to the lifeboat, they realized that there was only space for one person left.

At this moment, the man pushed the woman behind him and jumped onto the lifeboat himself.

The lady stood on the sinking ship and shouted one sentence to her husband.

The teacher stopped and asked, “What do you think she shouted?”

Most of the students excitedly answered, “I hate you! I was blind!”

Now, the teacher noticed a boy who was silent throughout, she got him to answer and he replied, “Teacher, I believe she would have shouted – Take care of our child!”

The teacher was surprised, asking “Have you heard this story before?”

The boy shook his head, “Nope, but that was what my mum told my dad before she died to disease”.

The teacher lamented, “The answer is right”.

The cruise sunk, the man went home and brought up their daughter single-handedly.

Many years later after the death of the man, their daughter found his diary while tidying his belongings.

It turns out that when parents went onto the cruise ship, the mother was already diagnosed with a terminal illness.
At the critical moment, the father rushed to the only chance of survival.

He wrote in his diary, “How I wished to sink to the bottom of the ocean with you, but for the sake of our daughter, I can only let you lie forever below the sea alone”.

The story is finished, the class was silent.

The teacher knows that the student has understood the moral of the story, that of the good and the evil in the world, there are many complications behind them which are hard to understand.

Which is why we should never only focus on the surface and judge others without understanding them first.

Those who like to pay the bill, do so not because they are loaded but because they value friendship above money.

Those who take the initiative at work, do so not because they are stupid but because they understand the concept of responsibility.

Those who apologizes first after a fight, do so not because they are wrong but because they value the people around them.

Those who are willing to help you, do so not because they owe you any thing but because they see you as a true friend.

Those who often text you, do so not because they have nothing better to do but because you are in their heart.

One day, all of us will get  separated  from each other; we will miss our conversations of everything & nothing; the dreams that we had. Days will pass by, months, years, until this contact becomes rare… One day our children will see our pictures and ask ‘Who are these people?’ And we will smile with invisible tears  because a heart is touched with a strong word and you will say: ‘IT WAS THEM THAT I HAD THE BEST DAYS OF MY LIFE WITH’. Send this to all your friends that you will never forget.
Thank you for making me smile for sometime in my life…:)

Not Packed as expected ??

image

Sometime we don’t understand what world has to offer us. Our ability to think fades when we see what we are not expecting.
Following story will tell you same.

A young man was getting ready to graduate from college.
For many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealers showroom, and knowing his father could well afford it, he told him that was all he wanted.
As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited signs that his
father had purchased the car. Finally, on the morning of his graduation, his father called him into his private study, told him how proud he was to have such a fine son, and how much he loved him. He handed him a beautifully wrapped gift box.
Curious but somewhat disappointed the young man opened the box and
found a lovely, leather-bound Quran, with his name embossed in gold.
Angrily, he raised his voice to his father and said, “With all your money you give me a Quran?” He stormed out of the house, leaving the Qur’an behind.

Many years passed and the young man was very successful in business. He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his father was very old. He thought perhaps he should go to him. He had not seen him since that graduation day.
But before he could make arrangements, he received a telegram telling him his father had passed away and willed all of his possessions to
him. He needed to come home immediately and take care of things. When he arrived at his father’s house, sadness and regret filled his heart.
He began to search through his father’s important documents and saw the Qur’an, new just as he had left it years ago.
With tears, he opened the Qur’an and began to turn the pages. As he opened the Qur’an a car key dropped from the back of the Qur’an. It had a tag with the dealers name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had desired.
On the tag was the date of his graduation and the words…
PAID IN FULL.
How many times do we miss Allah’s Blessings because they are not packaged as we expected?
You hardly try to understand GOD’s will.

Fetch time for Love

image

You are mature. You know everything but there is a human limit, beyond which you cannot tolerate. You know that they love you, wants you smile.
BUT at end of day one is thirsty for love. You should fetch some time for one you love and really care. Why can’t you spend time and make them feel special. You know you love them, but its not enough!!!  You should express that feeling so it reaches your connecting heart.
Some relationships break not because they don’t love eachother  but because they don’t fetch time for love. Work is important but not at cost of love. Both should be balanced.
Love should be expressed, merly some words can make you smile and make your day. Say aloud  your loved one that i love you and stay with me.
Few words and problems solved.

Love to give, not take..

You’re hurt by only those whom you Love. A small act of them annoys you, hurts you. Someone who is indifferent, doesn’t smile at you,it doesn’t bother you so much. But someone whom you Love, they don’t smile, or they didn’t give enough attention to you ,you get hurt.
Then you go,” ohhhh, ohhh, ohh.” Your mind goes like that. All complaints it takes and stores up and creates an illusion, “i am bad.”Either you blame yourself or you blame other person. So either you are in misery or you make that other person miserable and guilty and all this stuff.
This is too common. But then there is another stage.

When love matures,it becomes surrender. Surrender is a divine Love,Mature Love. “What is it that you want? Let me be useful to you.Let me be like a tree, and you come and have shade under me. I am here to give you joy and happiness. And in your happiness, i find happiness. “That is surrender. And surrender is the most beautiful thing that can happen to a human being.
And the moment that surrender has happened in you, you have reached the other shore. And in that state, there is so much fulfillment. That is prosperity

Love and affection

image

There was a couple. Both husband and wife loved each other and   cared for each other. But their financial status  was poor. Once wife said to husband ” God has gifted me such good long hair ,but no hair clips  to decorate it. Bring some clips for my hairs.”
Husband replied to it ” Oh dear you are worried about hair clips, the belt of my watch is broken since many days i have no penny to take new.”
Husband after his return from work in evening sold his watch which was without belts. From this amount he purchased some  fine hair clips for her wife.
Went home. He opened the door of house and went into shock. Wife asked  ” why are you staring at me?”. Husband said ” Where are your long hairs?”.   Wife replied ” I had cut my hair and sold it. From this amount i had brought nice belt for your watch.” Husband kept the hair clips on wife’s hand and wife kept the watch belt onto his hands.
Both hugged each other.

Sometimes all you need is love and affection. To maintain and grow in relationships, what other person does for you is not important, what i can do is important.Think on it. Love is all about giving not taking.

You need to be patience

How long can you wait?
To be a winner how many efforts will you put in,after a series of failure ? How long can you keep yourself  calm and cool and let it go. How much ignorance?

Nothing happens without effort.
You need to b patience.
You have to have faith.
And for that you have to break down the barriers of prejudice, which require courage.
To have courage you must conquer your fears.

Its a difficult task to be patience, atleast not a cup of tea for all the people around. A lot of calmness and patience is required to keep the mind focused on one thing. We humans have a tendencies to easily get directed to other catchy things. To be focused and working hard for it, is tough  assignment.

A strong burning desire is not enough, one must keep his soul into it. A thought that ” i will complete, whatever it may cost me. ” Any external nor internal desire should be affected once a decision is been taken to be a winner. Simply Try ,try, try ..multiple times, to be a hero from zero. During the journey you may come across ups and down, PATIENCE  is all you need. Never quit. You will definitely find a way.

image

After the autumn flowers will again  blossom.

A couple was going through financial crises , no good salary and lots of burden and responsibilities. But they keep faith, courage, patience that we will move out and prosper one day. Both kept moving bravely. Finally their dreams got wings and  got success.

Keep moving you will find a way ahead.

Peace of Mind

This below story tells us about PEACE OF MIND

image

Once Buddha was traveling with a few of his followers.
While they were passing a lake, Buddha told one of his disciples, “I am thirsty. Do get me some water from the lake.”
The disciple walked up to the lake.
At that moment, a bullock cart started crossing through the lake.

As a result, the water became very muddy & turbid.
The disciple thought, “How can I give this muddy water to Buddha to drink?”
So he came back & told Buddha, “The water in there is very muddy. I don’t think it is fit to drink.”
After about half an hour, again Buddha asked the same disciple to go back
to the lake.
The disciple went back, &  found that the water was still muddy.
He returned & informed Buddha about the same.
After sometime, again Buddha asked the same disciple to go back.
This time, the disciple found the mud had settled down, & the water was clean & clear.
So he collected some water in a pot & brought it to Buddha.
Buddha looked at the water, and then he looked up at the disciple & said, “See what you did to make the water clean. You let it be, & the mud settled down on its own, & you have clear water.”
Your mind is like that too ! When it is disturbed, just let it be. Give it a little time. It will settle down on its own.
You don’t have to put in any effort to calm it down.
It will happen. It is effortless.”
Having ‘Peace of Mind’ is not a strenuous job, it is an effortless process.

Caught by Insecurities?????

Every day a new thought generates in our mind.We think of various conditions, situation happened  over past, present ane even future. When it comes to future ,it comes with Insecurities & Fears.

What, when, why, how life may change for us is unknown.. And at this point we get caught in the forest of insecurities.( The insurance  companies works on  principle of fear and insecurity. They generate insecurities in our mind to join them.)

image

Not Many people can accept what comes to them in life. Every unplanned action when comes to reality it brings  insecurities. Insecurities for Future events is seen high among people. As said “Fear is the biggest enemy, which stops you to go ahead.”

# After one failure ,
# after every unexpected  outcome,
# before planning for important events in life (including  marriage and  other stuff ) ,
# before even setting a goal.
# A parent worried about his child’s future.
# A youngsters worried about his college,job.
People pass with bundles of thoughts, some positive, some negative.
Positive are always welcomed but negative brings fears and insecurities.

To overcome this fears one should ACCEPT
# All happens for good.
#  A person must ultimately embrance patience, either willingly or otherwise.
# Change is certain, wait, it is always for good.
# You deserve more and your desires may be less,so god has to plan for you.
# Ultimately don’t think much and enjoy each and every moment you have get in your life.

A smile of the day

As a daily routinue i was going to work on my two wheeler. On my way there was a traffic signal on intersection of four roads. I had to wait for signal to turn green. Meanwhile on left side of signal  i saw Maruti Zen in which a man was seated on driving seat , due to sunlight i could just see his clothing , his dressing sense looked like he must be an officer of higher designation. I couldn’t clearly see his face. My mind got sticked to this man and i became  eager to see his face ,i wanted to see his facial expressions and his looks.

For signal to turn green 12 seconds were remaining. I closed my eyes and  wished “God i want to have a glimpse of this man.”   As soon as i open my eyes i saw the man  opening the car window and he looked at me. He looked cool, a man in his twenties. He smiled. Yes !!! he actually gave a smile. The Smile made my day.

If you ever fall in Love

If you ever fall in LOVE…

# Fall in Love with someone who wants to know your favorite color and just how you like your coffee.
# Fall in Love with someone who loves the way you laugh and would do absolutely anything to hear it.
# Fall in Love with someone who puts their head on your chest just to hear your heart beat.
# Fall in Love with someone who kisses you in public and is proud to show you off to anyone they know.
# Fall in Love with someone who would never ever want to hurt you.
# Fall in Love with someone who makes you question why you were afraid to fall in love for first place.
# Fall in Love with someone who falls in LOVE with your faults and thinks you are perfect just they way you are.
# Fall in Love with someone who thinks that you are the ONE they would love to wake up to each day.

” How to let go my past?? “

image

” i cannot go to her,nor i can forget her, i will live with her memories, i don’t want any relationship ,i will die loving her .”  said one of my close friend about her past relationship after unexpected  breakup.

He cannot forget the girl, nor can forgive her, he tried to convince but all in vein ,he is stuck between her and his own family, he cannot accept that she doesn’t want to move forward into their relationship. He is sticked to past and doesn’t move on.

The negative NO is fit into his mind and he has shut the doors of all happiness coming to him. He is living dead man i saw and feel pitty towards him. How can anyone not forgive someone??

One should forgive others and their mistakes ,not for them but for oneself. If we don’t  forgive them than it might not affect them but deep inside, we suffer. To let go the past Forgiveness is important.

You will feel free after forgiving people from past that hurt you. If you don’t do so, you will be left alone to suffer and have pain.
